About the event
In this workshop, we’ll explore the unpredictable and inspiring energy of improvisation, allowing poems to emerge in the moment. We’ll experiment by inventing and breaking language, sounds, and ideas to transform our writing. We’ll learn to create and move freely through improvisational techniques and writing prompts, capturing fragments and images from everything around us.
As we write, we’ll embrace the unknown—breaking from convention and letting our poems unfold without rules. Through this practice, we’ll discover the joy of allowing creativity to take the lead and watch our poems come to life.
