Tsaá with Roma  Terms & Conditions

By registering for and participating in this workshop, you agree to the following terms:

Registration & Payment
Full payment is required to secure your spot. Spaces are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Ticket Policy

1. Non-Refundable Tickets
All workshop tickets are non-refundable. Once a ticket is purchased, it cannot be returned or exchanged for cash. This policy ensures the sustainability of our workshops, which are independently organised and rely on participant enrollment to cover facilitation and planning costs.

2. Access to Recorded Workshops
If you are unable to attend a workshop live, a full recording of the session will be made available to you. Participants will have access to the recording for one month after the workshop date. This ensures that everyone can engage with the workshop content, exercises, and discussions, even if personal schedules or unforeseen circumstances prevent live attendance.

3. A limited number of Concession tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Policy Rationale:

  • Sustainability: Ticket sales support the organisation, facilitation, and delivery of high-quality workshops. Since workshops are independently run, repeatedly refunding tickets would make it impossible to plan and deliver sessions reliably. A non-refundable ticket policy allows us to maintain a stable schedule and ensure workshops can actually take place.

  • Accessibility: Providing recorded access ensures participants can benefit from the workshop even if they can’t attend live, while keeping sessions affordable.

  • Transparency: This policy is communicated at the time of purchase so participants understand the terms and can plan accordingly.

Cancellation by Us:
If we need to cancel a workshop or course, we will notify you promptly. We will offer you the choice of a full refund or an alternative session, whichever works best for you. If a session within a course is cancelled, we will also endeavour to provide a replacement session or, if that’s not possible, offer a pro-rated refund. We want to ensure you have a positive experience, even if changes are necessary.

Code of Conduct

All participants are expected to engage respectfully and professionally. Any disruptive or inappropriate behaviour may result in removal from the workshop without a refund.

Intellectual Property/Copyright
The workshop content is the intellectual property of the facilitator and may not be reproduced, shared, or distributed without written permission. Sample poems for discussion will include works by other poets (not the facilitator) and are used under fair use for educational purposes. These poems and any related materials cannot be shared or distributed outside the workshop.

Your Copyright

You will keep the copyright to any work you create during the Course. You guarantee that all such work is your original creation and does not infringe on the copyright of any third party. This guarantee remains in effect even if your participation in the Course ends or is cancelled.

Media Consent
The workshop may be recorded for promotional/educational use. If you prefer not to appear in the recording, please turn off your camera during the session. If you have concerns, let us know in writing before the event, and we’ll do our best to accommodate you.

Liability
Participation in workshops may involve emotional and intellectual engagement. By attending, you acknowledge and accept responsibility for your own emotional well-being. The organiser is not liable for any emotional distress, personal injury, or loss (including loss of data or property) incurred during or as a result of participation in the workshop, whether held online or in person.
